Restoring the support and definition the face loses over time — cheeks, jawline, chin and the lines around the mouth.
Dermal fillers are hyaluronic acid gels used to replace lost volume, add structure or soften deep folds. As we age the face loses fat and bone support, and that loss is often what makes someone look tired, more than lines alone.
Placed well, filler lifts and supports rather than simply filling. The plan is built around your face as a whole, and treatment is built up gradually so nothing looks done.
Lips and noses have their own pages: lip fillers and non-surgical rhinoplasty.
A full facial assessment, medical history and a plan for how much filler you need and where, with the cost agreed before anything starts.
Most fillers contain a local anaesthetic, and numbing cream can be used as well.
Filler is placed with a fine needle or a cannula, depending on the area. Allow 30 to 60 minutes.
Some swelling, tenderness or bruising is normal for a few days. Avoid exercise, alcohol, heat and facial massage for 24 hours.

Good to know
It depends on the area and how much support has been lost. Some areas need less than 1ml, while a lift across the whole face needs more. You will get a clear plan and price at your consultation, and packages are discounted.
Not if it is done properly. I work gradually and look at the face as a whole rather than chasing individual lines. Subtle is the default.
Typically nine to eighteen months, depending on the area, the product and your own metabolism. Areas that move less hold filler for longer.
Not always. Under-eye hollows can respond very well, but if the problem is puffiness or loose skin, filler can make it look worse. That is assessed honestly at consultation, and fibroblast plasma may be the better option.
Most people go straight back to normal life. Expect some swelling and possible bruising for a few days, so avoid booking just before an event.
Filler is one of the most common aesthetic treatments, but like any injectable it carries risks, including rare but serious ones involving blood vessels. That is why it matters who does it. I am a registered nurse, complications trained, and you will have my number afterwards.
